How to take photos at a concert with little light ?
A photographer i was looking at did a gig, and the lighting was so dull, i was just wondering how this worked ? he didnt use a tripod, as he was moving around too quick ! Is there a lens that is suitable for this ? if so what is it ?
I have the Nikon d90 !
Probably had a fast lens (f1.8 or so) wide open & the ISO ramped up. Plenty of fast lenses about in various focal length ranges – f1.2, f1.4 f1.8 & f2.8 would all be considered to be ‘fast’.
FWIW I use 50mm f1.8, 85mm f1.8 and 24-70mm f2.8 on a D300.
